Born in 1975 in New York, Aisha Hinds is a graduate of NYC's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts. Hinds also studied acting the TVI Actors Studio and The American Theatre of Harlem. After a number of stage roles and independent films, she gravitated towards television, landing a recurring role on the television drama "The Shield" in 2004. She also appeared in the shows "Dollhouse", and played the role of Miss Jeanette on "True Blood". Most recently, Hinds can be found playing the role of Isabel Walsh on the medical drama "HawthoRNe".

D.J. Cotrona was born in Connecticut in 1980, and originally planned to be a lawyer. After realizing he didn't particularly like working with lawyers during a summer internship, he changed his college major to acting.
