He’s a good actor. Haven’t seen the show in weeks. Tuned in tonight (3/15) and bummed to see he’s gone. Dialogue isn’t great. Without this actor I won’t be watching the show again. Did he ask for too much money?

I agree with all of the above. The smoothness of his character made up for the quirkiness and rough edges of the others. I won’t stop watching……yet, but I won’t be too depressed if I mis it now either. Hope too that they realize this was a mistake and can spin a fake death undercover storyline—-they did it on Law & Order SVU with the blonde D.A. (actress Stephanie March)a few years back and it worked!

I have no idea why Stone was killed off…it makes no sense because he provided the show with a character who young, attractive, a bit of a hot head in a unit with ultra professional type police officers.

I didn’t care for the romance between him and his partner because it seemed contrived. Sadly, once the old girlfriend moved in I thought it could only be a disaster because she was a walking bomb and he ignored it all…for what reason…except an exit from the show.

i can’t see losing any of the cast members at this point. they are all fantastic. i’m sure the writers can come up with something like he had to go underground and it was important that the word on the street was det stone is dead. jusy saying.

I was sad to see John Stone go but not devastated. If they had killed off Fitch – I would have been devasated!

I love all the characters in this show. They are all interesting in their own way. I particularly love Fitch, Ariana and the Leiutenant sp? But I love the way they all have their quirks. Oh and I love the new FBI woman – she’s a trick.

I loved last nights show. Espcically the scene between Mahjong and Abby. OMG. Perfect. And I love Fitch’s son Bobby – boy what a perfect casting.

This is one of my favorite shows and I barely watch TV. Initially I thought it was a bit gritty and dark but now am addicted to it. Bring back many more seasons please.

I thought it was hilarious that “DJ” use to pull the material of his shirt sleeves tight and tuck the extra material under his armpit, thereby making his sleeve tight and his bicep more pronounced. What a tool. The writers/producers were annoyed by him. Why do you think they embarrassed his character by getting him accidentally punched in the face? That stuff was written as an F U to the actor. He was fired because he is a pain in a%#, plain and simple. Michael Imperoli carries the show and hats off to the network for giving it a chance. Keep up the good work, Mike!

Wont be watching this show anymore since they killed off the best and cutest guy on the show. Now its just filled with old people who have boring storylines. DJ had a star quality above all the rest and Im sure a legion of fans who will go with him to the next level. The writers should all be fired, they’re lame! Oh my goodness, I was depressed when John Stone died! I really liked the relationship he had with Ariana Sanchez and I thought he potrayed his character very nicely. Was there are a problem with Cotrona or did the writers just want something tragic to put into season one? Anyways even though i was sad it was amazingly played out and emotionally riveting! I LOVE THIS SHOW BRING IT BACK!!

I am so, going to Detroit this summer even though I know all of the scenes are not filmed there.

I am very disappointed Detective Stone got killed. It doesn’t make any sense at all. There is something very wrong with the writer or the producer of the show. Can you give us any explanation why this no sense killing happened? Or you just decided to eliminate the character because you said so. I like to watch shows that make sense. I like this one, however, I am hesitant now. Give us an explanation.

i missed one show. when i watched next Det. Stone was gone. not a good idea,he was great and smooth and not the roughness like the rest of the cast. bring him and the show back, he added great middle man between his partner and detective Finch, i think better with her than the new interest in Finch
